Sensory Disabilities
A neurological disability that affects the brain's ability to process sensory information, including: hearing, vision, taste, smell, or touch.
Common sensory impairments include deafness, hearing loss, blindness, low vision, sensory processing, reduced spatial awareness, and more.
Psychiatric Disabilities
A mental pattern that causes significant impairment of personal functioning. Symptoms and behaviors associated with this disability can change, overlap, or be on a spectrum.
Disabilities include but are not limited to: bipolar disorder, seizure disorders, tourette syndrome, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and more.
Non-Visible Disabilities
A disability or health condition that is not visibly or immediately obvious. These disabilities are typically chronic illnesses and conditions that significantly impair normal activities of daily living.
Disabilities include but are not limited to: epilepsy, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, chronic fatigue, and more.
Cognitive and Intellectual Disabilities
A person that has certain limitations in mental functioning, communication, and social skills. Intellectual functioning includes learning, problem solving, and judgement. Adaptive functioning, such as communication and independent living, may be impaired.

Physical Disabilities
Impairment in a person's body structure or function. Impairments include but are not limited to: loss of a limb, difficulty seeing, hearing, walking, loss of vision, memory loss, and activity limitation.
Disabilities include but are not limited to: cerebral palsy, paraplegia, quadriplegia multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, musculoskeletal disorder, and more.
