Erin Field
Cofounder
Erin is a C5/6 quadriplegic, disability advocate, and creator of The 10% App. After a spinal cord injury in 2017, she dedicated herself to helping others navigate life after trauma.
Erin graduated from Goucher College with a bachelor’s degree in English literature and has an interest in returning to law school to specialize in disability law. She is currently pursuing her master’s in mental health counseling to become a licensed trauma therapist to help other people in the disability community.
Todd Field
Founder & CEO
Todd Field earned his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with an early plan to attend medical school. When his sister Erin sustained a spinal cord injury, he shifted focus to support her through rehabilitation. During that time, he noticed how fragmented and difficult it was to access disability-related resources and community support. This led to the creation of The 10%—a platform built to make connection and information more accessible for people with disabilities. His goal remains clear: no one should have to navigate disability alone. This fall, Todd is heading back to school to pursue his Master of Architecture.
Jack Benziger
Cofounder
Jack Benziger graduated from Goucher College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. After interning at a recruiting firm during his senior year, he accepted a position as a technology recruiter and moved to Boston with Erin, balancing his job alongside her care. After four years, they relocated to Florida, and Jack transitioned into the role of her full-time caregiver. Using his professional experience, he now helps foster partnerships and collaborations for The 10%.
Laura
Cofounder
Laura joined the 10% team after surviving a car accident that resulted in the diagnosis of C6/C7 quadriplegia. A decade of prior experience in Human Resources and analytical writing makes her naturally suited to communicate our mission and create informative disability content to spread awareness. Laura thrives in the 10% team’s collaborative environment, and is committed to making the disability community more connected, accessible, and powerful.
